A few days ago, Asus unveiled its latest AI-enabled PCs at IFA in Berlin. And now, the brand has dropped these PCs in India as well. These laptops are powered by Intel’s new Core Ultra processors (Series 2). Asus has launched three laptops with this processor, which include the Zenbook S 14 laptop, the ASUS NUC 14 Pro AI desktop, and the ExpertBook P5405. The Zenbook S 14 laptop is a proper consumer laptop, the ExpertBook P5405 is their commercial laptop, and the NUC 14 Pro AI is a compact desktop, pretty much like the Mac Mini. Now, let me tell you about their specifications, price, and availability.
The Zenbook S 14 features a portable design with a thickness of just 1.1 cm and weighs as light as 1.2 kg. It sports a 14-inch 3K OLED touchscreen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and is made with Ceraluminum™, a material that combines aluminum and ceramic for added durability. The laptop is powered by Intel’s latest processors, delivering up to 48 Tera Operations Per Second (TOPS) through its Neural Processing Unit (NPU). It will be available starting at INR 1,42,990.
The ASUS NUC 14 Pro AI is a compact mini-PC designed for both office and edge computing. It offers up to 115 total platform TOPS and comes with advanced security features such as Secure Boot and fingerprint recognition. The NUC 14 Pro AI will hit the market in December 2024, with pricing yet to be confirmed.
The ExpertBook P5405 aims at business users and features similar Intel technology and AI tools for better productivity. This includes AI noise cancellation and automated meeting summaries. This model is set to be available in November 2024, with its price also pending announcement.
The Zenbook S 14 is available for purchase today, while the NUC 14 Pro AI and ExpertBook P5405 will follow later this year. You can purchase the Zenbook S 14 at a starting price of Rs 1,42,990. The prices for the other two PCs will probably be revealed when they go on sale.
