ASUS is starting off 2022 with an excellent lineup. Recently they released the ExpertBook B1400, a highly capable entry-level business laptop. Fast forward a few weeks and another great device, ExpertBook B5 Flip OLED, joins ASUS’s 2022 lineup. The ExpertBook B5 Flip OLED is a 14-inch business laptop with a lot of premium features.
For starters, it comes with a gorgeous 13.3-inch OLED display, a carefully sorted I/O port selection, a powerful yet power-efficient processor, and a lot more. The ASUS ExpertBook B5 Flip OLED has a price tag of Rs 1,39,000 and here’s a quick look at all of its features.
The ASUS ExpertBook B5 Flip OLED is a business-class laptop and accordingly weighs just around 1.30kg, despite packing in a 66Wh battery. It also has a very thin profile of just 16.9mm, ensuring that carrying it in any briefcase isn’t an issue. The ExperBook B5 Flip OLED is a 2-in-1 device meaning it has a touch panel and a 360-degree hinge, allowing you to use it in more ways than conventionally possible.
As mentioned, the ASUS ExpertBook B5 Flip has an awesome-looking 13.3-inch OLED display. It is a Full-HD display that covers 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Since it is an OLED screen, it has a million to 1 contrast ratio. On top of all these features, the screen is receptive to touch inputs with a finger or a stylus.
Being a business laptop, the ASUS ExpertBook B5 Flip OLED has top-notch privacy features onboard. It has a physical webcam shutter, fingerprint sensor on the power button, a digital Numpad 2.0 on the trackpad, spill-proof backlit keyboard, and AI-enabled noise cancellation tech built into the microphone.
In terms of performance, the laptop is no slouch either. The ExpertBook B5 Flip OLED comes equipped with an Intel 11th Gen Core i7 quad-core CPU featuring Intel Iris Xe Graphics that should take care of compute-heavy tasks and some light graphically demanding workload. Additionally, the laptop also comes with 16GB RAM that’s expandable up to 48GB, superfast Wi-Fi 6, and a ton of I/O ports. Speaking of that, the USB Type-C Thunderbolt port with USB4 Interface allows the laptop to output to three 4k monitors.
ASUS also claims a 12-hour battery life thanks to the humongous 66Wh battery I mentioned earlier. Keeping it charged is a 65-W USB Type-C fast charger that can work as a singular charger for a lot of your other devices as well.
