Asus has launched the X550JK, an Intel Core i7 powered laptop which can double up as a gaming laptop. The X550JK is priced at Rs. 69,999.
Asus has announced its latest entry level gaming laptop, the X550JK, for a price tag of Rs. 69,999. The X550JK is aimed to compete with other entry level gaming laptops from Lenovo and Dell.
The Asus X550JK is powered by an Intel Core i7 4710HQ processor (2.5GHz, Turbo boost to 3.5GHz). As for the memory, the laptop comes with 8GB of DDR3L RAM and a 1TB HDD (7200rpm). On the graphics side, the laptop has an Nvidia GTX 850m (2GB) which is a decent mobile GPU. The laptop houses a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080p.
Asus has also added its Sonic Master audio technology in this laptop. The laptop supports 802.11 b/g/n Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0 and comes with a 4 cell battery. It has red accents all around the back and along the keyboard as well. The chiclet keyboard also has red accented keys. The laptop will be in direct competition with the Lenovo Y50-70 and Dell Inspiron 5547.
