Apple has updated its MacBook lineup with new processors, improved battery life, and a new, Rose Gold finish, with prices starting at Rs. 1,06,900. The new MacBook now comes with sixth-generation dual-core Intel Core M processors clocked at up to 1.3GHz, with boost speeds of up to 3.1GHz. Apple says that the new MacBook offers 10 hours of wireless web browsing, and up to 11 hours of iTunes movie playback. The new device also offers Intel HD Graphics 515, PCIe-based flash storage, and is available in a Rose Gold finish that Apple seems very fond of. Apple has also announced that it is making 8GB of RAM standard, across all 13-inch MacBook Air devices.
The MacBook, with 1.1GHz dual-core Intel Core m3 processor, Turbo Boost speeds of up to 2.2GHz, 8GB RAM and 256GB flash storage, is priced at Rs. 1,06,900. The variant with 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Core m5 processor, Turbo Boost speeds up to 2.7GHz, 8GB RAM and 512GB of flash storage is for Rs. 1,29,900. There are also configure-to-order options, which include a 1.3GHz dual-core Intel Core-m7 processor with boost speeds of up to 3.1GHz. The MacBook comes with a 12-inch Retina Display and a Force Touch trackpad. The device is equipped with a USB Type-C port and runs OS X El Capitan.
