Acer launches Aspire One netbook with Tata Photon Plus embedded, for Rs. 17,999

Acer has partnered with Tata Teleservices to offer its popular new Aspire One netbook with a Tata Photon Plus 3G mobile broadband modem embedded, for a price of Rs. 17,999, excluding taxes and other applicable levies.
The Acer Aspire One D260, (aka AOD 260) has the following specifications:
- Display: 10.1-inch LED-backlit LCD (16:9 aspect ratio)
- CPU: Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz
- Webcam: 1.3MP
- Memory: 1GB DDR2
- Storage: 160GB 5400RPM
- Battery: 6-cell – 8 hour life
- OS: Windows 7 Starter
- Connectivity: Bluetooth, 3xUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, multi-card reader, VGA, 10/100 Ethernet, 3.1Mbps Tata Photon 3G Wireless
[RELATED_ARTICLE]The embedded Aspire One netbook will currently be rolled out only in Mumbai and New Delhi, but will soon be hitting stores around the country. Data plans are identical with regular Tata Photon Plus tariffs, however, users will get the first two months free of charge, with a 5GB download limit. Thereafter they can choose whichever data plan suits them.
