After having launched a range of budget tablets, Zync is looking to expand its presence in the tablet market by launching five new slates under Rs. 15,000. The forthcoming tablets from Zync will be dual-core and quad-core with 7-inch, 8-inch, 9.7-inch and 10.1-inch screens.
IBNLive in its report says the 8-inch Zync tablet will be the country’s first quad-core budget tablet. The 10.1-inch tablet with quad-core will be available in the market this month. Some of the new Zync tablets will be equipped with “Apple’s iPad 3 screen”, powered by 1.6GHz processor and feature dual cameras and 32GB built-in storage.
“All these five tablets which will be launched end of this month will have a unique USP which no other player has in the market in terms of features and price. Zync is bullish on the tablet market and the price range of these tablets with the latest features is going to sweep people off their feet, so watch this space for more!” Ashish Garg, Director, Zync Global, is quoted as saying.
The Indian tablet market has seen an intense competition over the last year with a number of Indian manufacturers coming up with budget slates. Zync has launched quite a few tablets such as the Zync Z1000, Z930, Z909 and Z999 Plus.
After flooding the market with budget Android smartphones, Micromax has also launched a number of budget tablets under its Funbook series whereas Karbonn has launched the Smart Tab tablets.
