Zotac unveils GeForce GTX 660 Ti, with AMP! Edition

Updated on 01-Mar-2016

Zotac International has revealed two new graphics cards, based on Nvidia’s GTX 660 Ti GPU, called the Zotac GeForce GTX 660 Ti and GTX 660 Ti AMP! Edition (factory overclocked).

According to Zotac, the exclusive new Dual Silencer cooling solution on the Zotac GeForce GTX 660 Ti series delivers temperatures 10-degree (celsius) cooler and a noise reduction of 10dB under full load. It also helps provide the AMP! Edition with the thermal headroom necessary to push the limits and extract an extra 10-percent performance boost for higher frame rates and smoother game play.

Speaking about the new Zotac GeForce GTX 660 Ti series Carsten Berger, marketing director, Zotac International, said: “Gamers and enthusiasts demanded we introduce a graphics card with a custom cooler that brought the latest features such as Nvidia Surround and Nvidia GPU Boost to the performance-class price point. We listened and spent the last couple of months coming up with the Zotac GeForce GTX 660 Ti series with our exclusive Dual Silencer enhanced cooling solution.”

Featuring Nvidia SMX architecture, the Zotac GeForce GTX 660 Ti apparently delivers superior gaming performance, and improved energy-efficiency by 11-percent from previous generations. The cards also feature Nvidia Surround technology, for multi-monitor support – three simultaneous displays, with support for a fourth monitor in desktop mode.
