Top Notch Infotronix, known for its Zebronics brand of computers, consumer electronics and communications products and accessories, has entered the Indian tablet market, with the introduction of its Zebpad series of tablets.
Zebronics has launched the 7-inch Zebpad 7c and the 9-inch Zebpad 9c tablets, both running on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. A Jelly Bean update has also been promised. While the Zebpad 7c is now available on store shelves for Rs. 5,499 (and the company’s e-commerce site www.moneyvasool.com), the Zebpad 7c will arrive by the end of May, with a price that will be revealed then.
The Zebronics Zebpad 7c features a 7-inch display with an 800×480 pixel resolution and 5-point capacitative multi-touch support. Powered by a 1.3GHz Cortex A8 processor and a Mali-400MP 3D GPU, the Zebpad 7c bears 512MB of DDR3 RAM.
Both the tablets models feature dual-camera configurations, with a 2MP rear camera, and a VGA front shooter. The tablets also feature Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, apart from 3G dongle support via USB. Other specifications include a 3200 mAh battery, and 8GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB through a microSDHC slot.

The company announced it will be shortly adding to the Zebpad line of tablets with models that incorporate voice-calling through an in-built SIM-card slot; dual-core and quad-core processors, and other lifestyle features.
