Xiaomi set for MWC 2024: New car, tablet, smartwatch & more teased

Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 is scheduled to take place in Barcelona, Spain later this month. Xiaomi recently confirmed its presence at the upcoming tech exhibition. Now, Xiaomi has shared a teaser hinting at the company’s upcoming product announcements during the event.

The teaser image has been shared by Xiaomi Founder and CEO Lei Jun on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“Can’t wait to bring what we’ve been working on to the global audience at #MWC24,” Lei Jun wrote.

Xiaomi 14

The teaser image doesn’t directly disclose the names of the devices to be unveiled. Instead, it hints at a smart ecosystem revolving around the themes of ‘Human x Car x Home,’ suggesting that the brand might introduce products in these categories during the upcoming tech event.

The teaser image showcases five products arranged in a Lego brick-like formation. From their look and structure, we can expect them to be a smartphone, car, tablet, smartwatch and vacuum cleaner.

Xiaomi already revealed that the Xiaomi 14 series will make its global debut on February 25th. The car is expected to be the Xiaomi SUV 7. Speaking of the watch, there is speculation that it could be the Xiaomi Watch 2.

The details about the tablet and vacuum cleaner are still unavailable. However, recently, an image reportedly found on Xiaomi’s global website indicates that the forthcoming tablet will be named the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro.

The Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro tablet is expected to feature a 12.4-inch display. It will likely be an LCD panel offering a 144Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
