Xiaomi Pad 6 series is set to debut on April 18 alongside the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Xiaomi Band 8. There will be two new tablets namely the Xiaomi Pad 6 and the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro. Ahead of the April 18 launch event, the company has confirmed the display, processor, and battery details of the Pad 6 via Weibo.com. Xiaomi has teased that the Pad 6 series’ display will go up to a 2.8K resolution, a 309 PPI pixel density, and up to 144Hz refresh rate.
Although not yet revealed, we expect the Pad 6 series to feature an 11-inch screen. The regular model could get an IPS LCD, while the Pad 6 Pro could have an AMOLED display.
Xiaomi has partnered with Qualcomm for powering both Pad 6 tablets. The Pad 6 will bring Snapdragon 870 SoC whereas the Pro model will be shipping with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
The standard Pad 6 will get an 8840mAh battery backed by 33W fast charging support.
Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, meanwhile, is confirmed to bear an 8600mAh battery with an advertised standby time of up to 47.9 days on a full charge. Speaking of charge, you get 67W wired charging support with the Pro Pad 6.
Rest, the Pad 6 is expected to feature Android 13-based MIUI 14 software and a 50-megapixel camera as the primary shooter.
