Xiaomi is finally bringing the Mi Pad 5 to India rebranded as Xiaomi Pad 5. No, it is not a lame April Fool’s Day joke. This time it is official that the Xiaomi tablet is finally coming to India on April 27. With it, it is bringing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chip, a mega 8720mAh battery, and an 11-inch 2.5K touchscreen. Xiaomi is promoting the tab with the #doitbetter hashtag over its social channels. Xiaomi Pad 5 Specs and Features (Expected)
Xiaomi Pad 5 could sport an 11-inch WQHD+ IPS LCD panel engulfed in black borders. The screen is of 16:10 aspect ratio, and rocks 120Hz refresh rate, 1B colours, HDR10, and Dolby Vision support. You could even get stylus support on it.
Helming the Pad 5 is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 860 silicon which could be underpinned by up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The internal machinery could also comprise an 8720mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
Coming to cameras, the front one is an 8MP sensor while the rear optics is backed by a 13MP sensor.
Other miscellaneous featuress in the mix could be 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and GPS.

In China, Xiaomi Pad 5 is priced starting at RMB 1,999 (~₹24,000) for the base 6+128GB WiFi version while the 6+256GB WiFi model costs RMB 2,299 (~₹27,600).
