Xiaomi has launched the Yi M1, a mirrorless camera with a Micro Four-Thirds sensor. It starts at CNY 2,199, which is roughly Rs. 22,100. The camera uses a 20MP Sony IMX269 sensor with maximum ISO sensitivity of 25,600. The camera is also capable of recording videos in 4K at 30fps. It also comes with a 3-inch touch screen, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The Yi M1 sports interchangeable lenses and is being introduced with a 12-40mm f/3.5-5.6 lens and a 42.5mm f/1.8 lens.
Earlier this year, Xiaomi launched an upgraded version of the Yi Action camera from last year. The new camera is capable of recording 4K videos, and is intended to be a competitor to GoPro’s line of cameras. The Yi 4K Action Camera sports a 12MP Sony IMX377 sensor with an f/2.8 aperture lens, and 155-degree viewing angle. The camera also sports a microSD card slot, 6-axis gyroscope and dual microphones. It is also equipped with a 1400mAh battery.
