Xiaomi just concluded its Spring Summer Flagship Event, dubbed Next 2022, wherein it brought out some anticipated products like the Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi Pad 5, and more. Here we will be covering the Xiaomi smartphone and tablet. Since they were already out globally, you may already have an idea of what they're all about. But, for the est, we'll take a deeper look at the latest offerings by Xiaomi. 

Xiaomi 12 Pro Specs and Features

Xiaomi 12 Pro comes with a 6.73-inch 2K 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display. It also benefits from Dolby Vision support and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The front camera is a 32MP shooter. The back cameras comprise of 50MP (OIS)+ 50MP (2x zoom)+ 50MP (ultrawide) triplet. 

Under the hood, the Xiaomi phone comes with Android 12-based MIUI 13, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, and a 4600mAh battery with 120W wired charging support, and 50W wireless charging feature.

The other specs in the mix are under-display fingerprint scanner, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C 2.0 socket, and 5G.

Xiaomi Pad 5 sports a 11-inch 120Hz IPS LCD screen with Xiaomi Smart Pen (stylus) support, a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP FHD selfie shooter, dual mics, a Snapdragon 860 chipset, a 8720mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, and Android 11 with MIUI for Pad skin. This software is said to have been optimized for the big screen experience with features like a dock that’s  accessible through simple swipes, and multitasking using split-screen and floating windows. The brand has also announced the Xiaomi Pad Keyboard alongside the Pad 5.

Price and Availability

In India, the Xiaomi Pad 5 is priced at ₹26,999 for the 6+128GB variant and ₹28,999 for the 6+256GB model. As part of an introductory period offer (till May 7), the aforementioned tablet variants can be purchased at ₹24,999 and ₹26,999 respectively. it will be up for grabs starting May 3 at 12 noon via Amazon, Xiaomi stores, and other retail shops.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro 8+256GB variant is priced at ₹62,999 and the 12+256GB model costs ₹66,999 in the country. There are launch offers that bring the price down to ₹52,999 and ₹56,999 respectively.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro sale begins on May 2 at 12 PM through Amazon.in, Xiaomi outlets and other retail stores.
