Wickedleak has announced yet another Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-based tablet PC called Wammy Ethos. Priced at Rs. 8,999, the Wammy Ethos tablet comes with voice calling and 3G support. The device is scheduled to begin shipping on July 25.
Wickedleak, which recently launched the Wammy Plus tablet, says in its release that the Wammy Ethos has a 7-inch display with 800×400 pixels resolution. It features a 1.2 GHz processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB built-in storage. On the connectivity front, the device supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G (HSDPA 7.2Mbps, HSUPA 5.76Mbps). The device comes preloaded with various apps including Facebook, Skype and Google Maps. Moreover, the Wammy Ethos tablet has HDMI support as well.
“Riding on the success of our two ICS tablets (Wammy 7 and Wammy Plus), we at Wickedleak have thoughtfully launched an enhanced version of the tablet which will enable consumers to experience better processing speeds, phone calling, SMS, navigation and capacity at pocket friendly prices. With the Ethos we want the bridge to GAP between a smart phone and tablet as one does not need to carry both, ” says a company spokesperson.
