WhatsApp has officially introduced disappearing messages to the popular instant messenger owned by Facebook. With the new feature, users will be able to enable disappearing messages for chats that will erase all messages sent henceforth after seven days. This new feature was teased previously in a beta update but the company has now released it globally.
“Our goal is make conversations on WhatsApp feel as close to in-person as possible, which means they shouldn't have to stick around forever. That’s why we’re excited to introduce the option to use disappearing messages on WhatsApp,” the company said in a blog post.
