This external drive has a unique design that resembles a medium-sized reference book. The design is quite sturdy. The drive has a dual interface-USB 2.0 as well as FireWire.
There’s a round button that lets you take backups from the drive; this works in conjunction with the bundled Retrospect backup software. This button also indicates free space.
Writing a 1 GB file to the drive took just 44 seconds; reading took 35, which is quite fast.
