Western Digital has launched the My Net family of dual-band routers in India, wireless home networking products that have according to the company, been designed specifically to accelerate movies, video and gaming, delivering a premium high-definition entertainment experience. The ‘easy-to-use’ My Net family use WD’s FasTrack technology, which helps to instantly detect entertainment traffic on the network, and usher it through to connected Wi-Fi devices, from gaming consoles and media players, to smart TVs, tablets, smartphones, computers and others.
Speaking at the launch of the My Net dual-band routers, Khalid Wani, WD’s sales director for branded products, India, Middle East and Africa said, “Network demands within the connected home are growing exponentially, with members of the average Indian household simultaneously watching movies, playing games or browsing the Internet via smartphones, tablets, gaming consoles and other devices. According to WD, the My Net family is easy to setup, with quick streamlined installations for both PC and Mac machines.
