One could say that Nothing had fairly successful releases in its first go. We got the Nothing Phone (1), Nothing Ear (1), and Nothing Ear Stick. Now, it seems like we are about to witness the successors. Nothing has started drip-feeding the news circulation with details about its upcoming products such as Nothing Phone 2, Nothing Ear 2, and Nothing speakers. Here’s what we know about them.
We first heard about Nothing Phone 2 during the MWC 2023 when the company chief Carl Pei and Qualcomm’s Cristiano Amon stood holding a T-shirt with “Phone 2” and “8” imprinted on it. Later, Alex Katouzian, Qualcomm SVP and GM accidentally revealed in a LinkedIn post that the processor in question is Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
We have come across the leaked Nothing Ear 2 renders a while back, credits to Smartprix and OnLeaks. From those images, we learned that the Ear 2 could have a new position for the noise-cancelling microphones and some internal components.
The rumour is that we could get Personalized ANC, Transparency Mode, Dual Connectivity, Advanced EQ, and a Find Earbuds feature on the Nothing Ear (2).
The company has scheduled a launch event for Ear 2 on March 15, 2023. Perhaps, on the same day, we could hear about the Nothing Phone (2) and even the Nothing speakers.
From the renders shared by Kuba Wojciechowski via 91Mobiles, we get to see a boxy-shaped speaker with a bunch of buttons on either side. These could comprise volume rockers, power, etc. One of these is a red-accented button and there is also a protruding button. On the front, there are multiple speaker cutouts. Some of them could be tweakers and the rest could be sub-woofers. One of them also displays the ‘Nothing’ logo. We should have more details as we inch closer to the launch.
