Twitter to bring search filters for news, video and more
Next round of update from Twitter is going to focus on improving search functionality on the social networking site.
Twitter’s recent updates to its mobile apps clearly show its increasing focus on images. However, it has been working to improve search functionality as well. The micro-blogging website will be soon rolling out search filters, allowing users to search using multiple parameters such as people, news, videos and others.
Twitter has sent a tweet featuring a screenshot of the forthcoming search filters. The new filters will allow users to search all the things under “Everything” category. There will also be an Advanced Search, which will provide multiple filtering options at once. Twitter will also give an option to conduct search for users in your following list or those nearby.
Apart from this, Twitter hasn’t revealed more about the new feature. Twitter has also not divulged when the updated search will be rolled out.
As said above, Twitter has been focussing on adding visuals as well. The recent update to Android version brought the support to edit – crop and rotate – images within the app.
