Twitter has started rolling out an improved way to flag abusive tweets on the network. The new measure is aimed at putting a check on harassment and bullying across the social network.
Twitter has improved the process of reporting and made it much more mobile-friendly that requires lesser initial information. Flagging abusive tweets and accounts review have also been made easier. “These enhancements similarly improve the reporting process for those who observe abuse but aren’t receiving it directly. And to enable faster response times, we’ve made the first of several behind-the-scenes improvements to the tools and processes that help us review reported Tweets and accounts,” explains Twitter in a blog post.
Users can also take a look at the blocked accounts through a new blocked accounts page, which is listed under settings menu on Twitter.com. Twitter promises to soon add more controls and features this page. Additionally, accounts that you’ve blocked won’t be able to view your profile.
