Tim Cook says Apple Intelligence to be available in India starting April

Apple Intelligence will be available in India from April with support for multiple languages.
iPhone 16 outperformed the iPhone 15, driven by the demand for Apple Intelligence features.
iOS 18.4 is expected to bring a more intelligent Siri, context awareness, and personalized features.
Apple reported its highest-ever revenue in the first quarter of the fiscal year. While iPads and Macs saw a more positive sales trend, the company reported a slight decrease in iPhone sales. Apple CEO Tim Cook also stated that more people upgraded their iPhones this time, thanks to the AppIe Intelligence features.
Customers prefer the iPhone 16 over the iPhone 15 models for access to Apple Intelligence features, he added. Cook also stated that iPhone 16 series sales were higher in the markets where Apple’s AI features were available and that the iPhone 16 series outperformed the iPhone 15 a few months after its release.

Apple sees this as an opportunity for growth in markets such as China and others, and has announced that Apple Intelligence features will be available in additional languages such as French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, simplified Chinese, and localized English in Singapore and India.
“We’re working hard to take Apple Intelligence even further. In April, we’re bringing Apple Intelligence to more languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and simplified Chinese, as well as localized English to Singapore and India,” Cook added.
The iOS users can now anticipate a massive overhaul with the upcoming iOS 18.4 update in April, even though Apple has not yet made an official announcement. Apple is now anticipated to release a far more intelligent Siri with context awareness and personalization, the report claims. It may be able to access the user’s personal information and view what’s on their phone screen and analyze emails, messages, photos, calendar events, files, and other data to provide answers to user queries.
Mark Gurman previously stated that the company plans to include new emojis and support for additional languages in the upcoming iOS 18.4 update.
