The Nokia 5.1 Plus was introduced in India last month alongside the Nokia 6.1 Plus. However, the company didn’t reveal the price of Nokia 5.1 Plus until yesterday. The smartphone will go on sale from October 1 on Flipkart and will be available for Rs 10,999. The price makes this smartphone a competitor of the Realme 2, which is also quite a popular smartphone under Rs 15K. So, let’s see where these two devices stand in terms of specification.

Before we start comparing these two devices, one should keep in mind that the Realme 2 4GB/64GB variant is priced at Rs 10,990, which is similar to the Nokia 5.1 Plus 3GB/32GB variant.

Now, let’s begin with comparing the display of these two devices. The Nokia 5.1 Plus sports a 5.86-inch display, which is smaller than the Realme 2 that comes with a 6.2-inch screen size. The resolution of both the devices is the same, which is 720 x 1520 pixels. Still, if you prefer to have a smartphone with a bigger display then the Realme 2 might be the one to take a look at.

When it comes to the performance, the Nokia 5.1 Plus is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor, while on the other hand, the Realme 2 is backed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor. In terms of camera, Both the smartphones have an 8MP unit on the front. However, the Nokia 5.1 Plus comes with a 13MP + 5MP dual camera set up at the back, while the Realme 2 is equipped with a 13MP + 2MP rear camera.

There is another thing that buyers should know is that the Nokia 5.1 Plus is a part of Google’s Android one program, which means this device will be the first one to get updates as soon as they are released by Google.

The Nokia 5.1 Plus will be on sale at Flipkart from October 1, while the Realme 2 is already available on the platform.
