Snapdeal has introduced a new platform called ReGlobe, where users can sell used gadgets such as mobile phones, tablets and laptops to the retailer. The new Snapdeal service is available for free to its users. The service will soon expand to other categories in the near future.

“Only thing users have to do is identify their gadgets’ brand and make on the site, fill in details about its condition, get a quote from Snapdeal.com, schedule a pick-up or drop-off and get paid in cash instantly,” says the online retailer in a release.

Once the gadget has been physically verified by the ReGlobe technician, customer gets paid the exact amount mentioned in the online quote in cash. In case of any discrepancies between the details filled online and the actual condition of the gadget, the technician will revise the quote and if the new amount is agreed upon by both parties, the payment will be made on the spot, explains Snapdeal.

“ReGlobe is an exciting initiative for us where we provide customers the opportunity to sell their old gadgets without any hassles. The process is simple and hassle-free. This is yet another attempt on our part to make everything available to our patrons at the click of a button and at the most competitive rates,” says Tony Navin, VP- Business Development, Snapdeal.com.

Currently, the pick-up services are available in Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida, Ghaziabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Secunderabad and Hyderabad. Snapdeal plans to add new cities every month. You can learn more about Snapdeal’s new service here.
