Snapchat rolls out My AI chatbot, other cool new user features
Snap announced new features for Calling Lenses, Snap Map and Stories.

Amidst new features being revealed for Instagram and WhatsApp, enhancing user experience features on their platform, Snapchat has decided to take it up a notch and add multiple new features in the sphere of AR tools and AI chatbot.
At the Snap Partner Summit 2023, the parent company of Snapchat made announcements of various new features for the social media platform which aim at attaining a “seamless and enhanced user experience.”
Snapchat’s new user features
Snapchat announced a new feature called ‘Calling Lenses’, wherein the users can appear on the screen at the same time without any separating element.
Snapchat started the viral trend of stories and at the virtual summit it was revealed that stories will be provided with two new options, After Dark and Communities, where the former can be useful for post late-night events and the latter feature enables the users to discuss and share their views.
The Snap Map has always been a fascinating element in the app because of the personalisation of avatars with Bitmoji and it’s now transforming into a 3D display of landmarks as well.

Stories revenue share programme is an avenue to earn money for the users and to compete with the Meta giants Instagram and Facebook in regard to engaging with the audiences. The snapchatters who have a minimum of 50,000 followers, 25 million monthly Snap views, and post at least 10 Stories a month may be eligible to join the Stories revenue share programme.
However, the Spotlight reward programme users have to make and publish short videos with other users and Snapchat will reward the Top Spotlight Snaps.
