Samsung launches U flex headphones with flexible neckband and bluetooth support
The wireless headphones are splash and sweat resistant and can bend up to 100 degrees without harm, the headphones also sports a dedicated Bixby button
Samsung has announced its new U flex headphones which the company claims is quite flexible and can bend up to 100 degrees. The headphones are Bluetooth enabled and have a P2i nano splash resistant coating. The main feature of the headphone is a dedicated Bixby button which can be used to access S voice, voice recorder, S health and of course, advanced voice recognition via Bixby, Samsung’s intelligent interface.
The company claims to deliver ‘powerful bass, deep mids and clear highs’ as the headphones are built using two-way speaker units that consist of 11-millimeter woofers and 8-millimeter tweeters. Samsung’s U Flex Headphones sports Samsung’s proprietary Scalable Codec technology. It continuously filters Wi-Fi signals to optimize audio performance, ensures a stable Bluetooth connection along with seamless music playback.
According to Samsung, the Bixby button can be mapped to either Bixby or S voice. It can also be used to access the smart functions of your phone such as the clock, timer, Samsung Health and favorites.
Samsung states that the portable headset will not lose its shape or break, even when it is being carried in a small bag or pocket. The company also states that the U flex headphones deliver up to 10 hours of play time in a single charge, which is enough to last a single day. The headset also comes with a vibration notification feature so that you never miss out on any calls even in a noisy surrounding. The pricing and availability of the headphones are yet to be released.
