Samsung will soon host the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 and the South Korean tech giant has now officially announced that. The launch event will be held on January 22, 2025, in San Jose, California. During this event, the company will announce the latest Samsung Galaxy S25 series. The lineup will include four smartphones this time, unlike the three that have been launched previously. Along with that, many AI-driven features can also be announced during the event. We can even expect some displays of other devices that the tech giant is currently working on. Let’s take a look at all that we can expect at Galaxy Unpacked 2025.
As we clearly know, the main spotlight will be on the Galaxy S25 series. The lineup can include the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and maybe Galaxy S25 Slim. These smartphones are expected to come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This deviates from Samsung’s previous practice of having different chipsets for different phones in its S lineup. The smartphones will feature upgraded cameras and better charging speeds. Further, we can expect a new rounded-edge design and slim bezels.
All of these smartphones are expected to run on Samsung’s latest UI skin- One UI 7.1 which is based on Android 15. This can introduce newer AI-powered features, a redesigned UI, and enhanced user customisation. The update will debut on the Galaxy S25 series, with stable updates for older Galaxy devices arriving soon after.
XR Headset and Glasses: Previous leaks had revealed that Samsung has been working on an XR Headset and Smart Glasses similar to Ray Ban Meta glasses. These can also be showcased during the Galaxy Unpacked event.
Galaxy Ring 2: Speculation hints at a teaser for the next-gen Galaxy Ring as well during the Galaxy Unpacked Event 2025.
