The Samsung Galaxy Note 510, which was shown off for the first time at MWC 2013, and then ‘launched’ in India in March, is now available for pre-order on Samsung’s official website, at Rs. 30,990. There is no word on when the tablet will start shipping. Those interested can pre-order the tablet from the Samsung official website.
Whilst listed for pre-order, it is also listed as out of stock. There is a “notify me” button present, which will inform users once the device comes in stock. When the tablet was presented in India in March, we had some hands on time with it.
The Note 510 features an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels giving it a pixel density of 189ppi. It has a quad-core 1.6GHz processor along with 2GB of RAM. There will be two versions of the Note 510 in the market – one with 16GB built-in storage and one with 32GB storage. Both versions will also have a memory card slot for storage space expansion. Samsung has packed in a 4600mAh battery, and the weight of the tablet is 338 grams. The device will run on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The device will also support the Samsung S-Pen found on all of Samsung’s Note series devices.
For Rs. 30,000 users can also take a look at the iPad mini. You get the 16GB Wi-Fi Cellular version of Apples tablet. The downside to the iPad mini is that it doesn’t support expandable storage so you are stuck with what you get.
