Android 15-based OneUI 7 update is among the most awaited update for Galaxy device users. In the latest update, Samsung, on its Spanish website, has reportedly confirmed the first details of the upcoming OneUI 7 update with a major focus on Galaxy AI features, new design elements, and new features. However, the company has not mentioned anything about the release date leaving fans speculating that the page mentioning features may have accidentally gone.
OneUI 7 Features:
The OneUI 7 features will focus more on AI. As per the report, OneUI 7 has promised a more intuitive experience with ‘AI powering every step’ and a new look. It will bring the following:
1. New Design Elements: The OneUI 7 update will bring a revamped interface with newly redesigned icons, a smarter notification center, a new lock screen with a quick view of ongoing activities, and more.
2. AI Tools: Samsung Sketch to Image feature which allows users to make their sketches into digital images will also see enhancements. It includes 3D Cartoon, Sketch, and Watercolor. However, the users must note that the images will be resized to a maximum of 12MP, and a watermark will be applied.
3. Portrait Studio: The new Portrait Studio will also be available with the OneUI 7. It will allow the users to change their portraits into artistic profile photos with styles such as Comic, 3D Cartoon, and Sketch. It will need an internet connection and a Samsung account login. It will generate images at 9MP resolution with a watermark.
4. Live Effects: The new update will bring the ability to add depth and perspective to the photos. It will also bring AI Zoom features, which improve the clarity of zoomed-in photos.
5. Others: Some features like Circle to Search, Live Translate, and Energy Score are also reportedly mentioned on Samsung’s Spanish website. It is not clear what additional improvements the tech giant will bring.
OneUI 7 Supported Devices:
The Galaxy S24 Series, Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip models, and various Galaxy Tab S8 and S9 tablets, among others will receive the OneUI 7 update. It is worth noting that the Galaxy AI features will be free until the end of 2025.
