Amazon Prime Video subscription free for one year with some JioFiber plans

Reliance Jio’s FTTH (fibre-to-the-home) service JioFiber is now receiving support for Amazon Prime Video app and the Internet provider is also offering a free subscription to Amazon Prime that usually costs Rs 999. Jio recently released special recharge plans for its mobile subscribers that comes bundled with a complimentary subscription to Disney+ Hotstar VIP and now similar benefits are being offered to JioFiber customers with Amazon Prime subscription.
The complimentary subscription doesn’t come without a catch as it is only available for JioFiber customers on Gold, Diamond, Platinum and Titanium plans. The Gold plan is priced at Rs 1,299 monthly, followed by the Diamond plan at Rs 2,499, Platinum at Rs 3,499 and Titanium at Rs 8,499.
So if you’re on a JioFiber Gold plan and above, you are eligible to get a complimentary subscription to Amazon Prime Video that brings you critically acclaimed Amazon Originals, Hollywood, Bollywood and Indian regional movies, TV shows, stand-up comedies, kids programs and more.
How to claim free Amazon Prime Subscription?
If you’re a JioFiber user, the company is offering Amazon Prime Subscription for a year without any additional costs. The only criteria is that your account should be running on Gold or above plans. For activating the annual Prime subscription benefits, you will need to sign-up on Amazon Prime Video app on the Jio set-top box or create a new account.
Additionally, users can avail the offer by logging in to the My Jio app or on Jio website. In the My Jio app, users can navigate to the My Plans section and activate the Prime Subscription.
Do note that if you are on the Bronze or Silver JioFiber plan, you are not eligible to get the free subscription offer. The user will have to recharge their JioFiber account with a Gold subscription to avail benefits of the free Prime membership.
The complimentary access to Amazon’s OTT service is only applicable for new users as existing Amazon Prime subscribers are ineligible to avail this offer. So those already with an Amazon Prime membership just need to log in to the Prime Video app on their JioFiber set-top box.
