The New Year kicked off with manufacturers cutting down the prices of their flagship tablets. The price cut strategy worked well for the BlackBerry PlayBook. Samsung and Motorola also followed suit with their Galaxy Tab P1010 and Xoom tablets respectively. And now Reliance Communications (RCom) has come up with bundled offers for its Reliance 3G Tab. The new bundled offers include 500MB data usage free per month for three months, a two month full subscription pack from BigFlix and free international calls via Reliance Global Call.
The 500MB free data (worth Rs. 1,050) will be available to both Reliance 3G Tab pre-paid and post-paid customers for three months. The Reliance 3G Tab users are also offered two-month free subscription to BigFlix (worth Rs. 500), featuring a wide collection of movies, trailers and music videos. Additionally, the 3G Tab customers are offered Rs. 250 worth of international calls (including the U.S., UK, Canada and other 230 countries) free with a minimum recharge on Reliance Global Call.
“Witnessing an explosive growth in the Tab market, Reliance 3G Tab has hit the sweet spot with a terrific combination of a fully loaded Tablet and a seamless IP enabled 3G network leading to an unmatched customer experience,” RCom Group Head-Brand and Marketing Sanjay Behl said.
To refresh your memory, the Reliance 3G Tab runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The 3G Tab is powered by an ARM11 800MHz processor. It has 512MB of RAM, and features a 7-inch TFT display with 800×480 pixel resolution, a 2MP rear camera, as well as a VGA front-facing camera. Read a detailed review of the Reliance 3G Tab here.
