Xiaomi has launched two new tablets, a mid-range tablet and a budget tablet in India. These are the Redmi Pad Pro and Pad SE. The Pad Pro comes in two variants; the Pad Pro and the Pad Pro 5G. The Pad Pro also comes with a stylus and pen and has launched in two colours; Mist Blue and Graphite Gray. In the Indian market, this tablet will directly compete with the OnePlus Pad Go. Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Pad Pro 5G for under Rs 30,000 and the Pad SE for under Rs 12,000. Let me tell you the pricing and specifications of these tablets.
Both these tablets come with the same specifications. The only difference between them is the connectivity and storage. The Pad Pro comes with only WiFi support, whereas the Pad Pro 5G comes with both cellular and WiFi support. They feature a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with 2.5K resolution. This display supports 68.7 billion colours, Dolby Vision, and up to 120Hz refresh rate. Further, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Next, both tablets are powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. Xiaomi has launched the Pad Pro 5G in two storage options; 8GB RAM 128GB storage and 8GB RAM 256GB storage. The Redmi Pad SE was launched in India a few months ago and this is the 4G variant of that same tablet. It is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 13 with MIUI Pad 14. It is equipped with an 8,000 mAh battery and has an 8-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Redmi Pad SE 4G is priced at ₹10,999 for the base variant.
