Redmi Pad is the name of the brand’s first tablet in India and it just launched today. You can get it at a starting price of ₹14,999. In that price tag, you are getting a 90Hz 2K panel for visuals, dual speakers for audio, MediaTek Helio G99 power for performance and an 8000mAh battery for endurance. Redmi Pad specs and features
Redmi has outfitted the Pad frontier with a 10.61-inch IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 2K resolution (2000×1200 pixels), 400 nits of peak brightness, 10-bit color depth, and 1500:1 contrast ratio.
Both on the front and back, there is an 8MP camera. The front one comes with a 105-degree field of view and FocusFrame feature. The back camera also has autofocus capability.
The insides of the tablet consist of a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, up to 6GB RAM, 128GB of storage, and an 8000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
The software on top of this is MIUI 13 for Pad based on Android 12. Xiaomi is promising 2 years of Android version updates and 3 years of security updates. The thing weighs 445 grams and is 7mm thick. The rest of the repertoire includes 4 Dolby Atmos-certified speaker setup, and a microSD expansion facility.

The Redmi Pad is priced at ₹14,999 for the base 3GB+64GB model, ₹17,999 for the 4+128GB variant, and finally ₹19,999 for the 6+128GB version. But, for a limited time, you can get the tablet for ₹12,999 for the base variant, ₹14,999 for the 4GB model and ₹16,999 for the 6GB edition.
On top of this, there is a 10-percent bank discount offer also. The Redmi Pad will be up for grabs from October 5 at 10 AM via the Xiaomi website and retail partners.
