Realme has released new earbuds named Realme Buds Q2s in China alongside the Realme V25 smartphone. As evident from its name, this is a new edition of last year’s Realme Buds Q2. And like its antecedent, this one also comes powered by a 10mm driver with bass boost capabilities. It also has ENC for calls and 88ms low latency game mode just like the predecessor. Now, there are some upgrades as well, such as the support for Bluetooth 5.2.

Realme Buds Q2s Specs and Features

Realme Buds Q2s can connect to Bluetooth 5.2 and supports AAC audio codec. The sound out of the buds is driven by a 10mm ‘bass boost’ driver with Dolby Atmos support. The diaphragm inside is Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) and TPU-based. Outside, the earbuds are protected by IPX4 water resistance.

You can control the bass boost and other audio profiles within the Realme Link app. The app also offers customization options for touch controls, updating the firmware, etc.

So, as you have just read, there are touch-based navigation options. You can even trigger the voice assistant with the touch inputs.

Even though the Buds Q2s lack ANC, you can make do with ENC during calls to fend off noises.

Now if you are a gamer, the built-in game mode can come handy in reducing the latency up to 88ms.

And the total advertised playback is up to 30 hours out of the 480mAh power baked into the case. As for the buds themselves, you can run them up to 5 hours. Finally to charge them, plug the case (buds included) for 10 minutes and gain 3 hours' worth of juice.

Realme Buds Q2s Price and Availability

Realme Buds Q2s has been launched in Paper White and Paper Green colours in China, priced at 199 yuan (~₹2,385).
