YouTube got a hang of this incident, and removed both of Ranveer Allahbadia’s accounts from the platform.

Famous YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia has lost access to all of his past podcasts as well as two YouTube channels after his account was hacked. This includes his personal YouTube channel and the main BeerBiceps channel as well. The incident took place last night. Once the hackers took over his YouTube channels, the main BeerBiceps channel was renamed to “Tesla” and the handle was converted to “@Elon.trump.tesla_live2024.” On the other hand, his personal account was changed to “@Tesla.event.trump_2024.”

Commenting on this, Ranveer Allahbadia took to his Instagram stories to share his thoughts. He said, “Celebrating my two main channels getting hacked with my favourite food. Vegan burgers. Death of BeerBiceps met with death of diet. Back to Mumbai”. In a follow-up story he even asked, “Is this the death of my YouTube career?” He has yet to share a detailed statement on what happened.

Once the hackers had access to his YouTube accounts, they did something that every content creator dreads, they deleted all of his videos, interviews, and podcasts. All of these videos were replaced with videos of older events that featured prominent personalities like Elon Musk and Donald Trump.

In addition to this, the hackers also played a livestream on the channel which featured an AI-generated avatar Elon Musk. This was a trap to lure viewers into falling for a cryptocurrency scam and promised double returns if they deposited Bitcoin or Ethereum on a suspicious website, elonweb.net. This is part of a larger “Bitcoin doubling” scam and has been targeting prominent YouTube accounts.

In the latest development, YouTube got a hang of this incident, and the company removed both of Ranveer Allahbadia’s accounts from the platform. If you search for his account it shows, “This page isn’t available. Sorry about that. Try searching for something else.”
