Everyone and their grandmother has seen Gangnam style. For those of you who’ve just woken up from hibernation, or just to refresh old memories, here’s a refresher.
PSY brings back his seedy, gyrating charm with his new single, “Gentleman”. Setting the web on fire with a record-breaking debut that saw Justin Beiber’s “Boyfriend” video come crashing down from its lofty perch. The record in question, 20 million views in 24 hours. Well above “Boyfriend’s” record of 8 million (there is hope for this world yet).
Of course “Gentleman” is no match for the still very watchable (and probably timeless) Gangnam Style. The single lacks the unexpected appeal of the original, but it is a worthy sequel nonetheless.
