Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 18th National Conference for e-governance over Twitter yesterday. Modi took to Twitter early in the morning, connecting with over 9 million people who follow him on the micro-blogging social network. The PM explained that even though he was unable to be present at the conference in person, he didn’t want to miss it.
The National Conference for e-governance this year was about employability, digital governance and skill development. It was attended by delegates from the Armed Forces, Centra & State Governments, Industry & Private Sector and Academia.
