Portronics has launched a new USB-based charging device, called Charge It, meant for easy on the move charging of your smartphone tablet, via laptops and other USB devices.
The company says the ‘Charge It’ device is aimed at users of Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy tablets as well, devices that don’t easily support USB charging, or take a very long time without the AC adaptor.
Portronics’ new charging device is claimed to provide 1.3A of current via computers, laptops, allowing users to charge tablets in less than 4.5 hours, and smartphones in 1-2 hours, supposedly nearly as fast as if they were charging via AC power.
The Charge It device also supposedly enables users to charge even in sleep mode with most laptops. Portronics has priced it at Rs. 799, and you can check out further specifications below:
