PM Modi announces Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign: How to register and find your selfie

The PM announced the Har Ghar Tiranga movement again.

The central government has set up this campaign to conclude the ongoing ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’.

In line with the patriotic spirit, even PM Modi changed the display pictures of his social media accounts too.

As India celebrates its 77th Independence Day, PM Modi has come forward to launch the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign’.  An entire website has been set up to display the tiranga selfies, it is called harghartiranga.com. To mark India’s Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter (now X) to launch the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign. 

Taking to the microblogging site, the PM announced, “The Tiranga symbolises the spirit of freedom and national unity. Every Indian has an emotional connection with the Tricolour and it inspires us to work harder to further national progress. I urge you all to take part in the #HarGharTiranga movement between 13th to 15th August. Upload your photos with the Tiranga on https://harghartiranga.com”.

The central government has set up this campaign to conclude the ongoing ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. This is quite similar to the campaign launched last year. Here’s how you can participate in this ongoing campaign:

The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign registration will go live on 13th August and will be active till 15th of August.

Step1 – Visit the website and upload your selfie with the Indian flag on this website harghartiranga.com. 

Step 2 – You can register here with your Google accounts.

Step 3 – You can even find your selfie by searching your name.

However, if you are struggling with that, the website says, “If your selfie is not showing, you will be able to see your selfie from 16 August 2023, 8:00 am onwards.” Participants will also receive participation certificates.

In line with the patriotic spirit, even PM Modi changed the display pictures of his social media accounts too. He tweeted, “In the spirit of the Har Ghar Tiranga movement, let us change the DP of our social media accounts and extend support to this unique effort which will deepen the bond between our beloved country and us.”
