Performance tunable mice
When it comes to gaming, especially competitive gaming, precision with the mouse is of paramount importance. Because of this, being able to customise your mouse to best suit your style of gameplay will most likely give the best results. For this reason, brands have come up with adjustable and tunable mice, which allow you to finetune their sensors and even their weight to give you ultimate control.
There are plenty of gaming mice in the market, but not too many that allow you the customisability and personalisation that these mice do, check out these four tunable mice and what they have to offer.
Gigabyte Aorus M5
The Aorus M5 comes with many adjustable features, including highly customisable RGB, on-the-fly DPI switching (adjustable up to 16,000 DPI), and adjustable weights.
The mouse is tailormade for right-hand users, so while lefties do miss out, this is a very ergonomically comfortable mouse to use, for both users with large and small hands.
The mouse is pretty lightweight, to begin with, but the weight can be increased with its weight distribution system. The Aorus M5 can also calibrate lift-off distance, allowing you to calibrate it to your working surface of choice using the Aorus Engine Software.
Corsair M65 Elite RGB
The Corsair M65 RGB Elite comes in white and does pretty well in the looks department. This mouse is targetted at hardcore FPS players, allowing for DPI adjustment in 1 DPI steps. The mouse itself is rated at up to 18,000 DPI, and you can adjust it how you see fit, even if it means that 17,999 is the perfect DPI setting for you.
The mouse also features tunable weights, while not as easy to remove or add as other mice mentioned here, can still make a difference to FPS gameplay. Overall, the mouse is still comparatively light. The mouse also features a dedicated sniper button, which adjusts the DPI for when you're scoped (zoomed) in.
Corsair Nightsword RGB
The Corsair Nightsword RGB features a familiar design, accompanied by a comfortable grip and Corsair's iCUE software, which is among the better mouse software out there.
On top of the above, the Corsair Nightsword RBG also comes with adjustable weights, a high-quality sensor (with adjustable DPI up to 18,000), 11 adjustable buttons, and of course, adjustable lighting which can sync up with your other Corsair devices.
The software can also detect how you're using the weights and can even set profiles for different weight settings and key customisations. The software can automatically detect when you add and remove weights.
Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB
The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB is all about personalisation; 11 programmable buttons, adjustable up to 12,000 DPI, removable weights and of course, customisable RGB. Although the lighting doesn't really compare to the rest of the customizability options you have here.
Thanks to the wide variety of customisation options and the features you have from Logitech on the software end of things, the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB is an all-purpose gaming mouse which you can finetune to your specific gaming needs.
