PC cabinets with tempered glass side panels
There used to be a time when a PC cabinet was something you would hide away under a table. They all came in standard white and were usually a mess of wires and components. These days a cabinet is the first thing people want to show off, and it makes a statement about your style. What’s the point of owning an expensive GPU or CPU and then hiding it? And it’s not just the rich that want to show off, because thanks to RGB lighting and accessories, you can make a budget PC look like a million bucks! The first step, of course, is to make sure everything is visible, and that’s where cabinets with tempered glass side panels come in. Yes, you can get the same show-off effect with acrylic as well, but in no time flat you will scratch it and ruin the look. Glass is hardy and scratch-resistant, and just looks way better. Without further ado, here are some awesome cabinets with tempered glass side panels that you can buy on Amazon right now!
ANT Esports ICE-100TG Mid Tower Gaming Cabinet
You can’t go wrong with black as a colour of choice for anything in life, and PC cabinets are no exception. The ANT Esports ICE-100TG is a mid-tower gaming cabinet that has a glossy black finish that will look classy on top of any desk. It can support motherboards that are ATX, MicroATX (MATX) and Mini-ITX (ITX) in size, and has space for two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch hard drives. You can fit a 360mm long GPU in it and a CPU cooler that’s 159mm tall. The front panel features one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.0 port and the standard headphone and mic jacks for front panel audio. The chassis will accept a total of six 120mm fans to make sure there is airflow, and that your components stay cooled – three on the front, two on the top and comes with a preinstalled 120mm fan on the back. Of course, the fan is not RGB, so if you want to prettify your system, this is a fan you’re going to get rid of anyway. The power supply bay is isolated from the rest of the system, so it doesn’t affect airflow or add any heat to your cabinet.
Gigabyte C200 Glass ATX Gaming Case
Weighing 7kg, this good-looking case from Gigabyte is not lightweight or flimsy and supports ATX, MATX and ITX boards. The Gigabyte C200 glass ATX gaming case has a thin lit up line running down part of the front panel, and it is sure to catch anyone’s eye. The RGB control for the case lighting is on the front panel, along with two USB 3.0 ports, the standard front panel audio jacks and of course the power and reset switches. The glass panel on the side has a black tint that should make any RGB lights stand out as they should, and the same glass is also on the front. The case has magnetically attached dust filters on the top and bottom, easy to remove and clean. The power supply is shrouded, as it should be, because who wants to see all of those ugly cables in a modern PC? If you’re looking to liquid cool, the front can hold a radiator up to 280mm; the top can fit a 240mm radiator while the rear slot holds the standard 120mm fan or radiator. Airflow should be good in this cabinet if you fill all those same spaces up with fans.
Chiptronex MX1 RGB Mid Tower Cabinet
The Chiptronix MX1 RGB is a striking looking cabinet with a classic all-black look with a thin line of RGB LEDs on the front that gives it its distinctive look. This RGB strip is manually controlled. The 5mm thick tempered glass on the side will allow you to show off your components while also keeping dust out. The power supply and two HDD bays are found at the bottom and isolated from the rest of the cabinet. It supports ATX, MATX and ITX motherboards. If you’re looking to add water cooling, there’s space for a 240mm radiator setup on the front, and 120mm radiators can fit on the top and the back. The case supports CPU coolers up to 156mm in height, and GPUs of a max of 365mm. There are also 2 SSD bays in the main cabinet enclosure. If air cooling is what you’re using, then the case has space for three 120mm fans on the front, the top can house either two 120mm fans or two 140mm fans, while the rear RGB fan comes already preinstalled.
Zebronics Zeb-Cronus Premium Gaming Cabinet
The Zebronics Zeb-Cronus is a very affordable gaming cabinet that punches above its weight. It features a top mounted CPU layout, which is already different from most of the others and can hold ATX or MATX motherboards. It can also hold a CPU cooler that’s 160mm tall and a GPU that’s 300mm long. The highlight of this case is the all-glass look on the side and front which give a very premium look. You can also squeeze in one 3.5-inch drive and two 2.5-inch SSDs, which is about par for the course in PCs these days. The top panel has one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.0 port and the standard audio jacks and power/reset switches. The case comes with four double-ring RGB fans preinstalled, and if you’re using air cooling, it’s unlikely that your precious hardware will need any more than those four fans, making it the perfect case for first time PC builders.
