Pantel launches ICS-based T-Pad IS701C tablet at Rs. 4,999
Pantel Technologies has announced an Andorid 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet called T-Pad IS701C in India. Pantel’s new tablet has been priced at Rs. 4,999.
Pantel’s T-Pad IS701C is powered by a Cortex A8 1GHz processor. The device features a 7-inch capacitive touch display with a 800×480 pixel resolution. The device comes with a 0.3MP front camera. The tablet has 512MB of DDR3 RAM with built-in storage of 4GB (expandable up to 32 GB). For connectivity, the tablet supports 3G, USB 2.0 port and a microUSB port.
Pantel had previously launched three tablets in partnership with state-run telecom operator BSNL. The BSNL T-Pad IS701R and BSNL T-Pad WS704C are 7-inch tablets and priced at Rs. 3,250 and Rs.10,999 respectively, while the BSNL T-Pad WS802C is an eight-inch tablet with a price tag of Rs. 13,500. Pantel’s new T-Pad is yet another addition to the heavily crowded budget tablet market of India.
