OpenAI’s GPT-5 will evolve with you, says Sam Altman
The release of OpenAI's GPT-5 could be right around the corner.
Rumours suggest that it will be capable of processing text, images, audio, and video seamlessly.
We might also get to see instances of OpenAI's GPT-5 in real-world scenarios.
Artificial Intelligence is booming with each passing day, every day I come here to share some of the other developments in that space. And OpenAI has been leading that space with its ChatGPT. We now hear that the release of its next upgrade, OpenAI’s GPT-5, could be right around the corner. Why do we say that? There’s obviously a lot of buzz about this on the internet but it has been over a year now since GPT-4 was released and it only makes sense for GPT-5 to arrive now with its new upgrades.
Even the main guy Sam Altman hinted at the arrival of GPT-5, he took to X (formerly Twitter) and said, “Patience, Jimmy. It would be worth the wait.” This tweet has further added fuel to our doubts. We don’t know much about OpenAI’s plans with GPT-5 but rumours suggest that it is going to be a multimodal AI, and will be capable of processing text, images, audio, and video seamlessly. We might also get to see Sora getting integrated.

In the future, we might also get to see instances of OpenAI’s GPT-5 in real-world scenarios. This was hinted at by Logan Kilpatrick, a former member of the OpenAI team, who informed that the company is trying to integrate advanced robotics into manufacturing processes. A recent partnership with Mercedes-Benz has prompted us to think that ChatGPT could be going places in the future,
In an episode of Unconfuse Me with Bill Gates, Altman himself shared the future possibilities with OpenAI’s GPT-5. He spoke about how customisation and personalisation were important. He added how GPT-5’s ability to understand user preferences and context was a great thing. GPT-5 might be able to reason and understand complex tasks better than its predecessors. Altman had taken into consideration the cons associated with GPT-4 and shared that GPT-5 could do away with those complaints.
Let’s wait and see when GPT-5 releases and what it will bring along.
