The Verge reports that OpenAI intends to introduce a new reasoning model, a Christmas-themed ChatGPT interface, and a text-to-video tool called Sora AI. The report claims that the interface may have a voice mode, a snowflake-like design, or a voice that is reminiscent of Santa.
Furthermore, the company may introduce a new reasoning model that will succeed the GPT-4 model. The company has reportedly been working on the new model, codenamed Orion, for months and is expected to launch by the end of the year.
Additionally, according to the report, Orion is trained on synthetic data from OpenAI’s recently released o1 series reasoning models. OpenAI is also reportedly developing an AI agent capable of performing computer-based tasks on behalf of users, which will be demonstrated during the live stream. However, it may be released next year.
In addition to these, OpenAI may introduce new features such as the ChatGPT Search feature, which integrates web search functionality into the ChatGPT AI chatbot, among others.
