OnePlus has partnered with Uber to give users a chance to book a OnePlus Loop VR headset. The headset will be available via the Uber app from June 14, 3:00 pm onwards and those interested will have to ensure that they are signed into the app. Inside the app, users will have to enter the promo code ONEPLUS3VR in the promotions tab in the app. After entering the code, they will have to head back to the main screen and click the UberVR icon on June 14th, from 3:00 pm onwards. If the request is accepted, an Uber cab will reach the user’s location with their Loop VR headset. The service is available in eight major cities in India, namely, New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Bhubaneshwar, Pune, Kolkata, Chennai, and Chandigarh. This might be the last chance for users to get their hands on the OnePlus Loop VR headset before the launch of the OnePlus 3 smartphone.

As we have received several requests to offer more OnePlus Loop VR Headsets to experience the OnePlus 3 launch in VR, we are partnering with Uber to give our fans a last minute opportunity to get their hands on VR Headsets right at their doorsteps within minutes of booking.”
OnePlus will be launching its upcoming flagship device, the OnePlus 3 via virtual reality on June 14 and the VR headset is aimed at helping people be a part of the launch. Further, those attending the launch will also have a chance of purchasing the device before anyone else. Last week, OnePlus partnered with Droom to auction the OnePlus 3. The company stated that all proceeds from the auction were donated to a charity chosen by the OnePlus community.
