OnePlus Pad 2, OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro, and OnePlus Watch 2R launched in India: Price, Specifications, and more

OnePlus’ Summer Launch Event in Milan just concluded and the company has launched a roster of new products alongside the OnePlus Nord 4. OnePlus launched the OnePlus Pad 2, OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro, and OnePlus Watch 2R in India on July 16. OnePlus had already revealed the launch of these products a few days ago with the tagline “Our metal band lineup”.

We’ve already covered the OnePlus Nord 4 in detail in our previous article, and our review is now live. Let’s turn our attention to OnePlus’ other newly launched products.

First, the OnePlus Pad 2 is the global version of the OnePlus Pad Pro, recently launched in China. It features the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a large 12.1-inch 3K display, and a 9,510 mAh battery.

Next, the OnePlus Watch 2R is a variant of the original OnePlus Watch 2, boasting premium features such as 100 hours of battery life in Smart Mode, the Snapdragon W5 chipset, and high-precision dual-frequency GPS.

Finally, the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro are truly wireless earphones packed with features, including large 12.4 mm drivers and 49 dB Active Noise Cancellation.

Now, let’s dive into the detailed specifications of the OnePlus Pad 2, OnePlus Watch 2R, and OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro.

OnePlus Pad 2 specifications

The OnePlus Pad 2 boasts the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset running OxygenOS 14 out of the box. It comes with 8/12 GB RAM and 128/256 GB internal storage. The tablet houses a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 7:5 aspect ratio and a whopping 3K resolution. The tablet is rated for 900 nits of peak brightness and has dynamic 144 Hz refresh rate. It also supports Dolby Vision for an enhanced viewing experience. To add to that, you also get a six-speaker system with Hi-Res certification. 

The tablet features a 9,510 mAh battery which offers 43 days of standby time, according to OnePlus. It also supports 67 W SUPERVOOC fast charging, ready to top up the battery from zero to full in just 81 minutes. The OnePlus Pad 2 features a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. Its body is 6.49 mm slim and weighs 584 g. Like the OnePlus Nord 4, the OnePlus Pad 2 also has an all-metal unibody design. 

OnePlus has also launched a couple of accessories for the tablet including the OnePlus Stylo 2 and the OnePlus Smart Keyboard. The Pad 2 has an array of connectivity features such as Auto Connect (to your OnePlus phone), Content Sync, App Relay, Remote File Access, and more. It also has Open Canvas which was popularised on the OnePlus Open. The Pad 2 doesn’t sleep on AI, it has a ton of AI features such as AI Eraser 2.0, Smart Cutout 2.0, AI Summary, AI Writer, Recording Summary, and more.

OnePlus Watch 2R specifications

The OnePlus Watch 2R is a slightly watered-down version of the flagship OnePlus Watch 2, available in two colourways: Forest Green and Gunmetal Gray. It has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 60 Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits of peak brightness in High Brightness Mode. 

The Watch 2R houses a 500 mAh battery, with OnePlus promising up to 100 hours of usage time in Smart Mode with full functionality or 48 hours of battery life with heavy usage. In Power Saver Mode, you can get up to 12 days of battery life on a single charge. The watch also supports 7.5 W VOOC fast charging, fully charging in just 60 minutes.

The OnePlus Watch 2R features a Dual-Engine Architecture, allowing the watch to manage two chipsets and switch between two wearable operating systems on the go. The Snapdragon W5 chipset runs WearOS 4, while the BES2700 efficiency chipset runs RTOS for extended battery life in Power Saver Mode. The watch has 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage.

The OnePlus Watch 2R supports L5 and L1 GPS frequencies for high-precision GPS. With both IP68 and 5ATM ratings, it’s an excellent option for outdoor sports enthusiasts, fitness enthusiasts, and swimmers. The watch is compatible with the OHealth app, which lets you monitor your health and fitness. It supports over 100 sports modes and includes features such as sleep tracking, stress monitoring, and more.

OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro

The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro is a feature-packed pair of truly wireless earphones, available in Starry Black and Soft Jade colour variants. The earbuds feature a 12.4 mm titanised diaphragm and up to 49 dB of Active Noise Cancellation support. There’s also Smart Noise Cancellation that adapts the Noise Cancellation levels based on the background noise. The buds support Transparency Mode too for when you need to stay aware of your surroundings. You can also customise the noise cancellation of these earbuds as per your hearing, by taking a short test in the HeyMelody app.

The earbuds feature OnePlus’ Crystal Clear Call technology aided by a triple stereo microphone system (two digital and one analogue), and OnePlus’ noise reduction algorithm. The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro also come with BassWave 2.0 and a Master EQ. You can choose between presets such as Balanced, Serenade, and Bass as per your preference. The buds support the SBC and AAC audio codecs.

The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro features Bluetooth v5.4, Dual Connection, Google Fast Pair, and IP55 dust and water resistance. They are rated for 44 hours of total battery life without ANC turned on, with 12 hours on the buds alone on a single charge. With ANC, you get 20 hours of total playback time. There’s also fast charge support, so a quick 10 minute-charge will give you 11 hours of playback time. 

OnePlus Pad 2, OnePlus Watch 2R, and OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro price and availability

The OnePlus Pad 2 is priced at ₹39,999 with a bank offer of ₹2,000 off. The OnePlus Watch 2R will retail at ₹17,999 with an instant bank discount of ₹1,000. And finally, the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro has a price tag of ₹3,299 with an instant bank discount of ₹300. The OnePlus Watch 2R and OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro will be available starting July 20th, while the OnePlus Pad 2 will be available for purchase starting August 1st.
