Notion Ink has launched a new 8-inch Windows 8.1 tablet for Rs. 9,990 that will be available via Snapdeal exclusively.

Notion Ink launched the Cain 8 Windows 8.1 tablet on Wednesday, available exclusively via Snapdeal for a price of Rs. 9,990, making it the lowest priced Windows tablet in the market.

The Notion Ink Cain is an 8-inch tablet with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. The tablet is powered by a 1.83GHz Intel Bay Trail Z3735F Atom processor, and has 1GB of RAM accompanying it. The 16GB internal storage is almost entirely used up by Windows and Office 365 installations, leaving only 4GB usable. The tablet has 3G data capbilities and takes a micro-sim. Notion Ink has included a very Intel Chip with only 1 GB of RAM which will definitely affect the performance of the device

Notion Ink Cain 8 also comes with a one year subscription to Office 365 and 1TB of One Drive storage. Notion Ink also launched a 10.1-inch Windows 8.1 tablet recently, the Notion Ink Cain, that comes with a detachable keyboard with foldable stand and a Bluetooth mouse and is priced at Rs. 19,990
