PC gamers all around the world celebrated in unison as Nvidia launched the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti today, December 2. The latest in the RTX 30 series GPUs, the RTX 3060 Ti is based on Nvidia’s latest Ampere architecture and is touted to be even faster and more powerful than the RTX 2080 Super! As of right now, Nvidia has only released one variant of the card, but we could see a basic RTX 3060 model launch soon.
Priced at Rs 35,900 (excluding tax), the Founders Edition card will be available starting today onward in India. The RTX 3060 Ti also features Nvidia DLSS support, or Deep Learning Super Sampling, powered by dedicated Tensor Cores. The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti also comes with enhanced GeForce Experience features for recording gameplay and more. As we mentioned above, one of the key selling points of this GPU is the fact that it crushed the RTX 2080 in terms of pure performance.
For an entry-level RTX 30 series card, the RTX 3060Ti sure looks to be one of the best deals when it comes to PC gaming. In a statement to the media, Matt Wuebbling, VP of global GeForce marketing at NVIDIA said, “We’re entering a massive holiday season with ray-traced effects coming to Cyberpunk 2077, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Watch Dogs: Legion and more. There’s no better way for gamers to enjoy cutting-edge ray-traced games or powering through creative and productivity workflows than with the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, and the rest of the RTX 30 Series.”
Remember, the RTX 3060Ti is available starting today December 2, 2020.
