I have some great news for the Apple fans out there. We are all waiting for the upcoming iPad Pro lineup. But rumours suggest even a new iPad Air will get to see new upgrades and changes which has made the anticipation for the same even more exciting. We are hearing that some key specs could be changed with the device.
To enhance the user experience, Apple could add some major changes to the iPad Air. Reports, including one from Bloomberg, suggest that Apple might unveil a 12.9-inch iPad Air variant – a first in the lineup’s history. This would mean that we will get to see the iPad Air in two display options. Following the lead of the iPad Pro lineup, this model will retain the signature flat-edged design and LCD screen technology.

We could also get an upgrade to the selfie camera too on the new iPad Air. Sources suggest we could get a revamped front-facing camera from the top bezel to the landscape side. This will allow for optimal camera alignment when we hold the iPad in landscape mode or pair it with the Magic Keyboard.

Leaks from Apple’s supply chain give us an idea of the new iPad Air’s rear design. We can expect a departure from the singular circular camera module. It is rumoured that we could get to see a vertical camera bump, which reminds me of earlier iPhone models. The camera module could incorporate a flash too.
Apple has not revealed when and how it plans to unveil the new generation of iPad Air. But hopefully, we could get it in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned for new updates!
