Android tipster Kuba Wojciechowski has recently revealed that there will be a single version of the Pixel Tablet, as opposed to earlier speculations regarding there being vanilla and Pro versions. The concept of the Pixel Tablet was first revealed at the I/O 2022 event in May 2022. Wojciechowski has posted images of the first-generation Tensor chip and the Tensor G2 chips.
It was believed that the Pixel Tablet and Pixel Tablet Pro are called “Tangor” and “Tangorpro”, respectively. However, according to Wojciechowski, the Tangor project has been cancelled. We may only see variants of the Pixel Tablet that will be equipped with the Tensor G2 chip. The tablet is also claimed to offer 8 GB of Samsung LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of Kioxia UFS storage. It may also come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

According to the tipster, the Google Pixel Tablet will have a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution. This display comes from China Star Optoelectronics (CSOT) and is also supported by a Richtek RT4539 six-channel LED driver. Based on this, we can assume that the Google Pixel Tablet will not have an AMOLED screen. The screen is also believed to be an 11-inch one.
Finally, it is also believed that there will be two types of docks for this tablet. The Yuzu / Y4 dock will support charging while the Korlan / K6 dock will have a speaker.
