The news comes via a tweet, where Netflix announced the release date and a complete list of the cast members. The star-studded cast features an ensemble of familiar names including Tom Holland, Bill Skarsgård, Robert Pattinson, Mia Wasikowska, Sebastian Stan, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Haley Bennett, Eliza Scanlen, Harry Melling and Pokey Lafarge. Directed by Antonio Campos, The Devil All The Time is a Southern Gothic psychological thriller based on the bestselling book of the same name by Donald Ray Pollock. Set in 1960s Ohio, the film follows a non-linear story of compelling and deranged characters who suffer from the psychological damages of World War II.
After his web-slinging escapades in Marvel’s Spider-Man films, Tom Holland will be leading the cast as Alvin Russell, a troubled Christian orphan, in this gruesome and grotesque narrative. Produced by Jake Gyllenhaal, the twisted anecdote will feature a serial-killing couple, a spider eating preacher and a lecherous pastor who preys on young congregants. As of now, Netflix has not updated the release date on their official page. But it should be resolved as soon as possible.
